CMS (Content Management System) is a very clever and useful thing. To get better knowledge of it, please do a small test. Go to any website, click on it using your right button on the mouse and choose "View Page Source". You will see strange text, which is a HTML code of this site. Now imagine that, every site of this service was written manually (in notepad for example) by someone(recently, that was the way do it). And now think that these kind of services can contain tens, hunderds, thousands of sites....

Fortunately CMS has been invented. CMS is a computer application that supports the creation and modification of digital content.  Most CMSs include Web-based publishing, format management, history editing and version control, indexing, search, and retrieval. By their nature, content management systems support the separation of content and presentation. All you have to do is install it, set it properly, extend it with needed functionality and fill it with custom content. CMS will do the rest. Clever, right? It is so clever, that many this type solutions were invented, as well comercials along with free ones. You can check it by yourself. Just type in Google "CMS" and you will see a lot of results.
